ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, installing, or using Alfred Max ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Alfred Max.
ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Platform and Language
The App is available exclusively on Apple iOS devices (iPhone). The App and all AI-generated analysis, feedback, and content are provided in English only. We do not guarantee the accuracy or quality of results for videos in languages other than English.
4. Description of Service
Alfred Max is an AI-powered video analysis platform designed for short-form content creators. The App provides the following services:
(a) Video Analysis — You may submit videos from your device for AI-powered evaluation. The App extracts frames and audio from your video, transmits them to our secure servers, and returns a comprehensive analysis including a Max Score (0–100), hook analysis, pacing analysis, visual and production feedback, content strengths, areas for improvement, retention strategies, and an AI-rewritten script.
(b) Competitor Analysis — You may analyze publicly available videos from other creators to gain competitive insights, identify techniques to adapt, and find opportunities to differentiate your content.
(c) AI Chat Assistant — The App includes an AI-powered chat feature ("Chat with Alfred") that provides personalized guidance on content creation, strategy, and growth.
(d) Analysis History — The App stores your past analyses so you can track progress over time.
(e) Streak Tracking — The App tracks your consecutive days of video analysis to encourage consistent content improvement.
(f) Notifications — With your permission, the App sends daily reminders and motivational prompts to support your content creation routine.
All AI-generated outputs, including scores, recommendations, and rewritten scripts, are advisory in nature. They do not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to viral reach, follower growth, or revenue generation.
5. User Accounts and Authentication
(a) To access the full features of the App, you must create an account. You may register using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email and password.
(b) You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
(c) We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that remain inactive for an extended period.
6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Free Trial
(a) The App operates on a freemium model. Certain features require an active paid subscription ("Alfred Max Premium").
(b) Premium subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. Pricing is displayed within the App and may vary by region.
(c) All payments are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you also agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.
(d) Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
(e) No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
(f) Free-tier users are subject to usage limits on the number of video analyses available per month and reduced history retention.
7. Your Content and Intellectual Property
(a) You retain all rights to the videos and content you submit for analysis. By submitting content, you grant Alfred Max a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the analysis services described herein.
(b) Video frames and audio data are transmitted to our servers for processing and are not permanently stored after analysis is complete.
(c) AI-generated analysis results, including rewritten scripts, are provided to you for your personal and commercial use in connection with your content creation activities.
(d) The App itself, including its design, branding, AI models, algorithms, source code, and all associated intellectual property, is and remains the exclusive property of Alfred Max and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Submit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
Upload content that you do not have the right to use or analyze
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the App
Use automated means (bots, scrapers, or scripts) to access the App or its services
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits, subscription requirements, or security measures
Share, transfer, or sell your account or subscription access to any third party
Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or services
9. Privacy
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
AI-generated analysis results are algorithmic recommendations based on pattern recognition. They do not constitute professional advice and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for content or business decisions. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis output.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALFRED MAX AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alfred Max and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
(a) You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature in the App's Settings. Upon deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems.
(b) We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
(c) Sections 7(d), 10, 11, 12, and 14 shall survive termination.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.
15. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alfred Max with respect to your use of the App.
